MadeOnSol started because I couldn't find a single place that honestly told me which Solana tools were worth using and which were dead projects with a nice landing page. Every "directory" I found was either pay-to-play (top spot goes to whoever paid the most), months out of date, or just a list of links with no useful context.
I trade on Solana daily. I use snipers, analytics platforms, trading bots, and DeFi protocols as part of my actual workflow — not as products I review from a distance. When a tool goes down, I notice before most monitoring services do. When a new DEX aggregator ships a better routing engine, I feel the difference in my fills. That hands-on experience shapes every listing and ranking on this site.
What started as a personal list of bookmarks turned into a directory, and then into something more. I realized that a truly useful Solana tool hub needs more than reviews — it needs live intelligence. So I built two features that no other directory offers.

Tools that go down get flagged. Tools that stay down get marked as stale or deprecated. You'll never click through to a dead link wondering if it's just you.
Rankings are driven by community upvotes and user reviews — not by how much a project pays. Featured listings exist (they keep the site running), but they're clearly labeled and never affect sort order or ratings. The tools at the top of each category are there because real users put them there.

The Solana ecosystem moves fast. New tools launch weekly, protocols pivot overnight, and yesterday's best option might be today's abandoned repo. MadeOnSol exists to be the source of truth through all of that — the place you check before you commit your capital or your workflow to any tool.
The roadmap is simple: more intelligence, more depth, more community input. Every feature I build starts with the same question: "Would this have saved me time or money last week?" If the answer is yes, it ships.
MadeOnSol is built and operated by Stijn Poortmans as a registered Belgian sole proprietorship (eenmanszaak), based in Hulshout, Belgium. One person builds it, runs the infrastructure, and answers the support email — but it is a registered business, not an anonymous project.
Enterprise and VAT number BE 1039.535.538 — publicly verifiable in the Belgian Crossroads Bank for Enterprises. Invoices carry no VAT under the small-enterprise exemption (art. 56bis W.BTW), which is why you will not see a VAT line on your receipt. The full registered address is on the Terms page.
The API runs on dedicated hardware we operate ourselves, with our own database and streaming infrastructure — no reselling of someone else's feed. Business customers can request a signed Data Processing Agreement before purchase.
