Who are these people?+
Real users — traders, founders, devs — who signed up and started contributing. We don't onboard ghost accounts. Reputation points come from honest activity: reviews, upvotes, stacks.
What does following do?+
Their reviews and stacks surface in your /feed. You also see their activity on the homepage and on tool pages they've touched. It's a private signal — they aren't notified, no follower count race.
Can I message someone directly?+
Yes — DMs are open by default. Click their profile, then the message button. The badge in the nav lights up when a new one lands.
I see the same person at the top of /leaderboard. Same people?+
Yes — community sorts by reputation, leaderboard adds the periodic resets (this month / this week) on top. /community is the slower, all-time view.
