Methodology

  • First-touch event: any tracked KOL is the first in our 1,000+ wallet set to buy a brand-new mint.
  • 4-hour window: we count distinct follow-on KOL buyers between the first-touch and 4 hours later.
  • Swarm rate: % of first-touches that attract ≥3 follow-on KOLs. Baseline (random KOL) ≈14%.
  • Minimum sample: ≥30 first-touches in the 30-day window. Pearson r=0.78 across non-overlapping halves at this sample size — stable signal.
