Overview

What 1inch actually does.

1inch is one of the most established DEX aggregators in crypto, processing billions in volume across multiple chains. In April 2025, 1inch expanded to Solana with its Swap and Fusion protocols, bringing institutional-grade trade routing to the Solana ecosystem. The 1inch aggregation algorithm splits trades across multiple liquidity sources and routes to find the optimal price path, similar to Jupiter but with the added benefit of cross-chain capabilities. The Fusion protocol enables MEV-protected swaps through a Dutch auction mechanism where professional market makers compete to fill your order, often resulting in better-than-market prices. 1inch on Solana supports over 1 million tokens and integrates with all major Solana DEXes. Cross-chain swaps became available in August 2025, allowing users to swap tokens between Solana and other supported chains directly through the 1inch interface. For users who trade across multiple chains, 1inch provides a familiar interface that works the same way on Solana as it does on Ethereum, BSC, and other networks. The aggregation is free to use, with optional Fusion mode for MEV protection.
