Overview

What BlockRun actually does.

BlockRun is a pay-per-call AI gateway that exposes 50+ models (OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, DeepSeek, Mistral, xAI and others) through a single OpenAI-compatible endpoint with no API keys and no subscriptions. It uses the x402 protocol: the gateway replies with HTTP 402 and a price, the caller's wallet signs a USDC payment, and the request retries with proof — settled in USDC on Base and Solana. Around the gateway it ships ClawRouter (an open-source router that picks the cheapest capable model per request), Franklin (an autonomous agent that holds a USDC wallet and buys the models and data it needs), and an MCP server for Claude Code and Cursor. It also brokers non-LLM services like Exa search, sandboxes, and DEX trading.
