Web3 developer tools for wallets, NFTs, and payments
Overview
Crossmint is a Web3 developer platform that provides APIs and SDKs for creating wallets, minting NFTs, and processing crypto payments — all designed to make blockchain integration accessible to traditional software developers. The platform abstracts away blockchain complexity, allowing developers to add Web3 features using familiar REST API patterns.
Crossmint's wallet-as-a-service enables applications to create non-custodial Solana wallets for their users automatically, without requiring users to install browser extensions or understand seed phrases. This dramatically reduces onboarding friction for mainstream applications adding Web3 features.
The NFT minting API allows developers to create and distribute NFTs with simple API calls, handling all the underlying Solana program interactions, metadata management, and storage. This includes support for Metaplex standard NFTs and compressed NFTs, enabling mass-minting at low cost. Applications can mint NFTs to email addresses, meaning recipients don't even need existing wallets.
Crossmint also provides fiat-to-NFT checkout flows, enabling users to purchase NFTs with credit cards rather than cryptocurrency. This removes perhaps the biggest barrier to mainstream NFT adoption — the requirement for users to hold crypto before participating. The platform serves major brands and enterprises looking to add Web3 elements to existing products.
