The network operates 19,800+ satellite reference stations across 148 countries, forming an RTK (real-time kinematic) network that delivers centimeter-level positioning accuracy. That level of precision is well beyond standard consumer GPS and is essential for applications such as autonomous vehicles, robotics, and precision agriculture, where being off by even a meter can be the difference between success and failure. GEODNET ties its physical infrastructure to crypto incentives through the GEOD token, which runs as an SPL token on Solana.
