Overview

What Honey Finance actually does.

Honey Finance is an NFT-backed lending protocol on Solana that lets holders borrow against their NFTs and other illiquid assets. It unlocks instant liquidity without forcing a sale of the underlying collection. Users deposit eligible NFTs as collateral and borrow against their value, keeping ownership and upside while accessing capital. The protocol extends DeFi lending mechanics to NFTs, a historically illiquid asset class, so holders can put dormant collateral to work. It targets NFT holders who want liquidity without selling, as a niche lending venue where collateral value, oracle pricing for NFTs, and liquidation mechanics carry more uncertainty than for fungible-token lending.
