Is It A Rug? is a fast pre-trade safety tool that scans any Solana token for rug-pull risk in seconds. It applies deterministic AI analysis layered on on-chain data from RugCheck.xyz, giving traders a quick risk read before they commit capital to a token they don't yet trust. The workflow is deliberately minimal: there's no signup and no KYC. A user pastes a token address, pays 12 sats per scan over Bitcoin Lightning, and receives an instant risk assessment. This pay-per-scan model keeps the experience private and friction-free, with no account to create or personal data to hand over. This design makes it well suited to active Solana traders who frequently evaluate new and unfamiliar tokens and want a fast, throwaway safety check without committing to a subscription or a platform login. The micropayment model means you only pay for the scans you actually run. That said, a rug check is a risk indicator, not a guarantee — automated analysis can miss novel scam patterns, and no tool can certify a token as safe. The Bitcoin Lightning payment requirement also assumes users have a Lightning wallet set up, which adds a small prerequisite.
