Overview

What SectorOne actually does.

SectorOne is a DLMM (dynamic liquidity market maker) liquidity layer and DEX that brings bin-based liquidity-book pools to Robinhood Chain, alongside Base and MegaETH. Rather than spreading capital across an infinite price curve like a constant-product AMM, liquidity is concentrated into discrete bins, so providers can target the ranges where trading actually happens and earn more fees per unit of capital deployed. The protocol offers three ways to participate. DLMM Pools earn trading fees through a dynamic fee system that adapts as volatility changes. DLMM Farms layer optimised incentives on top of those pool returns. DLMM Vaults are one-click, non-custodial strategies curated by experienced liquidity providers, market makers, trading bots or AI agents, aimed at people who would rather delegate range management than run it themselves. A specialised DLMM interface and advanced tooling serve both active managers and passive providers.

Cons

  • Impermanent loss is a real risk, which the project states explicitly in its own documentation
  • Concentrated positions need active range management unless you delegate to a vault
  • Newer protocol with a shorter track record than established AMMs
