Overview

What TipLink actually does.

TipLink is an innovative Solana payment tool that lets users send cryptocurrency through simple shareable links, eliminating the need for recipients to have existing wallets. It dramatically lowers the barrier to receiving crypto by wrapping tokens in a URL that anyone can claim through a web browser. The process is straightforward — a sender creates a TipLink containing SOL, USDC, or any SPL token, and receives a unique URL. This URL can be shared via text message, email, QR code, or any messaging platform. The recipient clicks the link and can claim the crypto to an existing Solana wallet or create a new one on the spot. This makes it possible to send crypto to anyone, regardless of whether they already use blockchain. TipLink has found strong product-market fit for several use cases: conference giveaways and NFT distributions, onboarding new users to Solana, tipping content creators, sending payments to people unfamiliar with crypto, and marketing campaigns with token distributions. The QR code generation feature is particularly popular at live events. The platform also offers TipLink Pro for businesses and organizations that need to create TipLinks in bulk — distributing tokens to hundreds or thousands of recipients simultaneously. This enterprise feature has been used for large-scale airdrops, conference activations, and marketing campaigns. TipLink is free to create, with only standard Solana transaction fees applying.
