Hyundai may end up selling robots through the same commercial rails it already uses for cars. At its 2026 Investor Day, Hyundai said Boston Dynamics robots could potentially be distributed through its dealer network, while Hyundai Capital is exploring financing for robot sales. That is a much bigger deal than simply offering monthly payments. Hyundai already has manufacturing, distribution, servicing and financing infrastructure. If that stack gets extended to robots, the bottleneck shifts from “can we build the machine?” toward “can customers acquire and operate it easily?” That is what commercialization starts to look like.
