What ZeroDev actually does.

ZeroDev is a smart account platform providing account abstraction primitives - programmable accounts, session keys, gas sponsorship and recovery - and it is named directly in Robinhood Chain's official account abstraction documentation alongside its RPC endpoint. Smart accounts allow behaviour that externally owned accounts cannot express: transactions sponsored by an application, session keys that let a trading interface act within tightly scoped limits without repeated signing, and recovery mechanisms that do not depend on a seed phrase. For consumer-facing applications on Robinhood Chain, where many users arrive from a brokerage background with no wallet experience, these capabilities are the difference between an onboarding flow that works and one that loses people at the first signature prompt.
