Overview

What Firedancer actually does.

Firedancer is an independent Solana validator client built from scratch in C by Jump Crypto. Capable of processing over 1 million transactions per second on commodity hardware, Firedancer represents one of the most significant infrastructure investments in Solana's history. After three years of development, Firedancer went live on Solana mainnet in late 2025, producing over 50,000 blocks across 100+ days of testing. The client provides Solana with critical client diversity — reducing the network's dependence on the original Agave (Solana Labs) client and making the network more resilient. Firedancer's performance optimizations come from low-level C programming and custom networking stacks that minimize overhead. This doesn't just benefit Firedancer validators — the optimizations and bug discoveries have improved the entire Solana network. The project is fully open-source, allowing anyone to audit, modify, and run the code. For the Solana ecosystem, Firedancer is infrastructure-level insurance: a second, independent implementation that can keep the network running even if bugs are found in the primary client. For validators and infrastructure operators looking to run Solana's most performant validator client, Firedancer offers the cutting edge of what's possible.

Is Your API Agent-Ready? A Checklist (2026)

The most common reason AI agents fail against an API isn't missing data — it's undocumented rate limits and no machine-readable discovery. A concrete, dated checklist for what agent-ready actually means in 2026, using MadeOnSol's own build as the worked example.

White-Label Solana Data: What Redistribution Rights Actually Mean for Your Product (2026)

You can often embed a Solana data API in your app on a self-serve plan, but the moment you resell the data, expose it as your own feed, or strip the branding, you're in licensing territory most builders discover too late. This guide maps the three usage zones (internal use, user-facing display, redistribution), the questions to ask any data vendor before you build, and what an Enterprise data license actually covers: white-label, bulk export, extended caching, SLA, and dedicated limits.
