Overview

What Gill SDK actually does.

Gill SDK is a modern JavaScript and TypeScript client library for Solana that wraps common development tasks in opinionated, high-level abstractions. Instead of stitching together low-level primitives, developers get clean APIs for token creation, minting, transfers, and program interaction, with the goal of reducing boilerplate and speeding up day-to-day work. The library targets developer productivity. Solana's raw interfaces are powerful but verbose, and Gill's design choices aim to smooth over the rough edges so common flows take fewer lines and less ceremony. Crucially, it does this while preserving full access to Solana's underlying capabilities, so teams are not boxed in when they need to drop down to lower-level control. Gill is well suited to teams building dApps, tooling, or backend services in the TypeScript ecosystem who want a pleasant developer experience without sacrificing power. By favoring sensible defaults and ergonomic APIs, it shortens the path from idea to working code, which is especially valuable for newcomers learning the platform and for experienced teams wanting to move faster. The trade-off with any opinionated abstraction is that its conventions may not match every project's needs, and developers must trust the maintainers' design decisions. As a client library it serves builders rather than end users, and teams with highly specialized requirements may still need to work directly with lower-level Solana primitives. As with all SDKs, longevity depends on continued maintenance and community adoption.

Is Your API Agent-Ready? A Checklist (2026)

The most common reason AI agents fail against an API isn't missing data — it's undocumented rate limits and no machine-readable discovery. A concrete, dated checklist for what agent-ready actually means in 2026, using MadeOnSol's own build as the worked example.

White-Label Solana Data: What Redistribution Rights Actually Mean for Your Product (2026)

You can often embed a Solana data API in your app on a self-serve plan, but the moment you resell the data, expose it as your own feed, or strip the branding, you're in licensing territory most builders discover too late. This guide maps the three usage zones (internal use, user-facing display, redistribution), the questions to ask any data vendor before you build, and what an Enterprise data license actually covers: white-label, bulk export, extended caching, SLA, and dedicated limits.
