Overview

What Hobba actually does.

Hobba is a Solana lending protocol that lets users borrow against their crypto holdings at the best routed rate, unlocking liquidity without having to sell their assets. By comparing rates across venues, it aims to give borrowers the cheapest available cost of capital on-chain. Its defining feature is the self-repaying loan: rather than sitting idle, collateral is deployed to earn yield, and that yield is automatically applied to pay down the outstanding debt over time. Borrowers get liquidity now while their position quietly deleverages itself. Under the hood, the Sonnar risk engine routes for the best rates and manages collateral safety and liquidation thresholds. Hobba was a DeFi-track winner at the Solana Cypherpunk Hackathon, with a live app at app.hobba.io. For Solana holders who want to access liquidity against their portfolio without selling — and without manually managing repayments — Hobba combines rate routing, yield, and automation into a single self-repaying lending product.
