Overview

What Lido actually does.

Lido is the largest liquid staking protocol on Ethereum, issuing stETH against staked ETH so that holders keep exposure to staking rewards while retaining an asset they can deploy elsewhere. It appears on Robinhood Chain's official ecosystem list, where the relevance is as collateral rather than as a staking venue in itself: a liquid staking token that carries yield is attractive backing for lending markets, and Robinhood Chain's lending stack is the largest non-DEX activity on the network. For users, the practical question is whether holding a yield-bearing ETH derivative on a layer two is worth the additional bridge and smart-contract exposure compared with holding it on Ethereum directly, which depends entirely on what that collateral is being used for on the destination chain.
