Overview

What ORAO Network actually does.

ORAO Network provides a verifiable random function (VRF) oracle purpose-built for Solana, delivering unbiased, fast, and affordable on-chain randomness. Randomness is a surprisingly hard problem on deterministic blockchains, and ORAO solves it through a byzantine quorum of fulfillment nodes that produce results no single party can manipulate. The output is cryptographically verifiable randomness — anyone can confirm the result was generated fairly and wasn't tampered with by a node, a developer, or a user. This makes it a foundational primitive for any Solana application where fairness must be provable rather than merely promised. The primary use cases are squarely in the Solana gaming and NFT space: game mechanics that need unpredictable outcomes, NFT minting with fair trait assignment, lottery and raffle systems, and equitable airdrop distribution. For builders, ORAO offers a drop-in source of trustworthy randomness so they don't have to roll their own insecure solution. As a piece of oracle infrastructure, ORAO is most relevant to developers integrating it rather than end users, and its security model rests on the honesty and availability of its fulfillment-node quorum. It is also a Solana-focused, specialized primitive — valuable precisely because it's narrow — so its usefulness is tied to the health of on-chain gaming and NFT activity on Solana.

Is Your API Agent-Ready? A Checklist (2026)

The most common reason AI agents fail against an API isn't missing data — it's undocumented rate limits and no machine-readable discovery. A concrete, dated checklist for what agent-ready actually means in 2026, using MadeOnSol's own build as the worked example.

White-Label Solana Data: What Redistribution Rights Actually Mean for Your Product (2026)

You can often embed a Solana data API in your app on a self-serve plan, but the moment you resell the data, expose it as your own feed, or strip the branding, you're in licensing territory most builders discover too late. This guide maps the three usage zones (internal use, user-facing display, redistribution), the questions to ask any data vendor before you build, and what an Enterprise data license actually covers: white-label, bulk export, extended caching, SLA, and dedicated limits.
