Overview

What Solaxy actually does.

Solaxy markets itself as the first Solana Layer 2, with a bridge to Ethereum aimed at offloading congestion and scaling transactions. Its own site, however, also carries a disclaimer describing $SOLX as a meme coin, so the L2 framing should be read with caution. The project ran a token presale that reportedly raised roughly $58 million and concluded in mid-2025, and it has released a Layer-2 testnet that lets users bridge SOL from Solana devnet, deploy contracts with Solana tooling, and view activity in a Solaxy explorer. A mainnet launch and the start of $SOLX trading had not occurred at the time of writing, with additional features such as a DEX and a token-creation protocol still on the roadmap. It targets speculative buyers and early adopters drawn to a Solana scaling narrative. The honest caveat is significant: this is an early-stage, largely presale-driven project whose core mainnet product is unproven and not yet live, and the self-described meme-coin status plus heavy presale marketing mean the token carries high speculative risk.
