Overview

What Solrise Finance actually does.

Solrise Finance is a decentralized, non-custodial asset management protocol on Solana. It opens up fund management to anyone: users can create their own investment fund or invest in existing funds with a starting point as low as $20, lowering the barrier to a service that has traditionally required significant capital and trust in an intermediary. The defining feature is its non-custodial design. Fund managers trade across Solana DeFi on behalf of investors, but investors retain full custody of their assets the entire time, so there's no need to trust a manager not to abscond with funds. This structure addresses one of the core counterparty risks in traditional and centralized crypto asset management. Solrise is built by the team behind Solflare wallet and the SolanaBeach explorer, two well-established pillars of the Solana ecosystem, which lends the protocol meaningful credibility and infrastructure pedigree compared to anonymous or unproven teams. That said, decentralized fund management still carries real risk. While custody stays with investors, fund performance depends entirely on the manager's trading decisions, and any DeFi protocol is exposed to smart contract risk. Trading across Solana DeFi can also be volatile, so the non-custodial guarantee protects against theft but not against losses from poor or unlucky strategy.
