Overview

What Stargate actually does.

Stargate is a LayerZero-powered bridge that moves native assets — USDC, USDT, ETH and BTC — between more than eighty networks without producing wrapped derivatives, and it is named in Robinhood Chain's own bridging documentation as a supported route. The distinction from a lock-and-mint bridge matters: assets arriving through Stargate are the canonical token on the destination chain rather than a claim on a bridge contract, which avoids the fragmented liquidity and depeg risk that wrapped assets create. On Robinhood Chain this route matters more than the raw bridge-TVL charts suggest, because a large share of the chain's dollar assets arrive as natively-minted USDG through LayerZero's token standard rather than through the canonical Arbitrum lockbox.
