What Step Finance actually does.

Step Finance positions itself as the "front page of Solana DeFi," providing a comprehensive portfolio dashboard that aggregates all of a user's Solana positions into a single unified view. Step Finance supports position tracking across Jupiter, Raydium, Orca, Marinade, and many other Solana DeFi protocols. Beyond portfolio tracking, Step Finance offers direct interaction with DeFi protocols through its dashboard. Users can stake, swap, and manage positions without navigating to individual protocol websites. The platform also provides market analytics, token price tracking, and yield farming opportunities curated from across the ecosystem. The STEP token serves as the platform's governance and utility token, with staking rewards for holders. Step Finance has evolved from a simple dashboard into a more comprehensive DeFi hub, though it faces competition from newer alternatives like Sonar Watch and dedicated analytics platforms like Birdeye. The platform remains free to use for basic portfolio tracking.
