A practical guide for Solana users whose money also sits on exchanges and perp venues.

Most Solana portfolios don't live in one place. There is the main Phantom or Solflare wallet, a hardware wallet for long-term holdings, a burner for new launches, SOL sitting in stake accounts and a lending position or two. Then there is everything that isn't on Solana at all: a Binance or Bybit account, a perp position on Hyperliquid. Each app shows its own slice. None of them tells you what you're worth in total, or whether you're up or down overall.
Solana makes this harder than most chains. Staked SOL lives in separate stake accounts, liquid staking tokens add another layer, and the long tail of tokens in an active wallet changes every week. This guide covers what a complete Solana portfolio includes, where tracking usually goes wrong, and how to put Solana next to your exchanges and perps in one total.
What a complete Solana portfolio includes
Before choosing a tool, list what you need to count. For a typical Solana user that means:
- SOL in every wallet, including staked SOL. SOL delegated to a validator sits in separate stake accounts, so a wallet's main balance alone understates what you hold.
- SPL tokens at market prices, from stablecoins and large tokens to the long tail of memecoins.
- Liquid staking tokens such as JitoSOL or mSOL. They are tokens in their own right and should be valued as such.
- DeFi positions tied to the address, such as lending deposits, borrows and liquidity positions.
- NFTs, valued at collection floor.
- Every address you use, totalled together.
And outside Solana:
- Exchange balances on Binance, OKX, Bybit, Coinbase and others.
- Perp positions on venues like Hyperliquid or Lighter, where margin, unrealized P&L and funding all move your net worth.
- Prediction-market positions, if you trade on Polymarket.
Where Solana portfolio tracking usually goes wrong
Stake accounts get missed. A tool that reads only the wallet's SOL balance drops staked SOL from the total. Use one that reads the stake accounts attached to each address.
Spam tokens inflate the total. Airdropped spam tokens often carry absurd prices. A tracker should filter dust and spam out of the total instead of adding them to it.
Thin liquidity flatters prices. A memecoin's last trade says little about what you could sell for. Treat long-tail tokens with shallow pools as estimates, and check the pool before you count on the number.
NFT floors are not sale prices. The floor is the cheapest listing, not a bid. A good tracker labels NFT values as floor so your total doesn't lean on them.
Burner wallets get forgotten. The wallet you used for one launch three months ago still holds tokens, and it still counts.
Dollars and SOL tell different stories. When SOL rallies, a portfolio can be up in dollars and down in SOL terms. Decide which one you are measuring before you judge performance.
How to track a Solana portfolio with TrueHold, step by step
TrueHold is a portfolio tracker. It reads wallets by public address and exchange accounts through read-only API keys, and puts everything into one total with P&L. Here is how a Solana-heavy setup comes together.
- Collect your addresses. Open each wallet and copy its public address: Phantom, Solflare, Backpack, your Ledger, your burners. Public addresses are all you need. No seed phrase, no private key and no wallet connection.
- Paste each Solana address. TrueHold's Solana portfolio tracker recognises the address format and reads SOL, SPL tokens, stake accounts, DeFi positions tied to the address and NFTs at floor value. Dust and spam are filtered out of the total, and several addresses roll up into one Solana figure.
- Add your exchange accounts. On the exchange, create an API key with read permissions only and paste it into TrueHold. A key like this can't place trades or make withdrawals. Your exchange balances then sit next to your on-chain holdings.
- Add your perps. A Hyperliquid account is a wallet address, so pasting it brings in open positions, unrealized P&L and funding with no API key at all. Lighter connects through a read-only token.
- Read the total. The dashboard breaks the portfolio down by source, by chain and by top holdings, with a balance chart and a reconciled transaction history behind each wallet. That is where questions like "how much of my net worth is on Solana?" or "how large is my Hyperliquid exposure next to my spot holdings?" get a straight answer.
- Ask in plain language. TrueHold includes an AI agent that answers questions from your own portfolio data, so you can ask instead of building a spreadsheet.
