Copy trading Solana KOLs is one of the most popular strategies in memecoin trading. But which wallets actually make money? We analyzed on-chain data from MadeOnSol's KOL Tracker, which monitors 462 KOL wallets via real-time gRPC streams, to find the most consistently profitable traders.
This ranking uses realized PnL (sells minus buys in SOL) over the past 30 days. No self-reported numbers — everything comes from verified on-chain transactions.

What the Data Tells Us
High-Frequency vs Low-Frequency Traders
The top 10 splits into two clear styles:
High-frequency: dv (15,365 trades), Cupsey (9,023), Cented (8,691), theo (8,381). These KOLs trade constantly, often entering and exiting the same token multiple times. They rely on volume and small edges per trade.
Low-frequency, high-conviction: Marcell (458 trades, +573 SOL), Goyim (363 trades, +456 SOL). These KOLs trade rarely but with larger position sizes and higher conviction. Marcell's +573 SOL from just 458 trades gives him the highest profit-per-trade ratio in the top 10.
Buy/Sell Ratios
- dv has a 3.2:1 buy/sell ratio (11,707 buys vs 3,658 sells) — he buys many positions but only sells a fraction, suggesting he takes small losses on most and rides winners
- Tom has an inverted ratio (862 buys vs 1,503 sells) — likely uses partial sells and DCA-out strategies
- decu also sells more than he buys (1,874 vs 2,178) — similar profit-taking strategy
How to Copy Trade These Wallets
Step 1: Choose a Copy Trading Tool
Several Solana tools support wallet copy trading:
Step 2: Use the Wallet Addresses
Each KOL's wallet address is linked in the table above and available on their KOL Tracker profile. Copy the wallet address into your preferred tool.
Step 3: Set Risk Parameters
Copy trading without risk management is gambling. At minimum:
- Set a max allocation per trade (e.g., 0.5-2 SOL per copy)
- Set a stop loss (e.g., -30% from entry)
- Don't copy every trade — high-frequency KOLs like dv make 15,000+ trades/month. Most are noise.
- Focus on convergence — when multiple top KOLs buy the same token, the signal is stronger than any single wallet
Step 4: Monitor on MadeOnSol
Track all KOL activity in real time at madeonsol.com/kol-tracker. The tracker shows every buy and sell as it happens, with convergence signals when multiple KOLs enter the same token.
Important Disclaimers
- Past performance doesn't guarantee future results. These rankings change monthly. A top performer this month may underperform next month.
- PnL is realized only. Unrealized gains/losses from open positions are not included. A KOL could be sitting on large unrealized losses not reflected here.
- Copy trading has latency. By the time you copy a KOL's trade, the price has already moved. Early entries matter less for high-cap tokens but significantly for low-cap memecoins.
- This is not financial advice. We provide data, not recommendations. Always do your own research.
FAQ
What is KOL copy trading on Solana?
KOL copy trading means automatically mirroring the trades of known Solana influencer and trader wallets. When a tracked KOL buys a token, your copy trading tool automatically buys the same token for you. Tools like Axiom, Cielo Finance, and BullX offer this feature with customizable allocation and risk settings.
How do I find profitable KOL wallets to copy?
MadeOnSol's KOL Tracker monitors 462 known KOL wallets in real time and ranks them by realized PnL, win rate, and trade activity. You can view the full leaderboard and individual wallet profiles at madeonsol.com/kol-tracker. Focus on KOLs with consistent profits over multiple weeks, not just single-day spikes.
Is copy trading KOLs profitable?
It can be, but with significant caveats. Top KOLs like Cented earned +2,560 SOL in 30 days, but most KOLs break even or lose money. Copy trading also has latency — you'll always buy after the KOL, often at a worse price. Use small allocations, set stop losses, and don't blindly copy every trade.
