How do you decide what gets listed?

Accepted Answer

Two ways in. Either we add it (the team scans new launches, X, and reader DMs every week), or someone submits it via /submit and we review within 48h. Either way, a real person checks the site loads and the tool does what it claims before it goes live.

What's the health score?

Accepted Answer

An hourly check of the tool's actual uptime, SSL validity, and response time. Green is healthy, yellow is slow or recently flaky, red is down. The score isn't editorial — it's machine-measured, so a popular tool with an expired cert will show red.

Question 3

How do reviews work?

Accepted Answer

Anyone with an account can rate a tool 1–5 stars and write a review. Reviews earn the writer reputation points (visible on /leaderboard). Top 3 reviewers each month earn 0.25 SOL. We don't pay for positive reviews — we caught a vote ring last quarter and disqualified the lot.

Question 4

Are featured tools paid?

Accepted Answer

Yes — featured tools pay for placement via /advertise ($25-$190). They get a small 'Featured' badge and sit higher in the sort. The reviews on a featured tool come from real users, not the tool itself.

Question 5

Can I sort by something other than rating?

Accepted Answer

Yes — newest, name A–Z, and health score are all in the sort dropdown on the filter sidebar. Default is rating-then-popularity, which surfaces tools that are both well-reviewed and actively used.
