Overview

What StakeView actually does.

StakeView is a Solana validator performance ranking tool designed to help SOL holders make informed staking decisions. It surfaces historical APY, commission changes, and performance metrics across validators, turning what is normally an opaque choice into a data-driven comparison. Rather than picking a validator blindly, delegators can see how each one has actually performed over time. By tracking validators across history, StakeView helps users identify the most reliable and highest-yielding options for their staking delegations. Commission changes are an especially important factor — a validator can quietly raise its cut and erode returns — and having that history visible protects delegators from surprises. The tool is built for everyday SOL stakers as well as more deliberate delegators who want to optimize yield and reliability. As staking is a core part of the Solana economy and network security, tools that improve validator selection benefit both individual holders and the health of the network overall. The main caveat is that past performance does not guarantee future results — a validator that performed well historically can still degrade, get slashed-adjacent penalties, or change behavior. StakeView informs the decision but does not eliminate the need for ongoing monitoring, and yields naturally shift with network conditions.
